That is a big move. At least the winters will be a lot warmer and less ice! I'm looking forward to your new ideas.

All new UHA-6 and UHA-6S amps now include the iPad compatibility mod. This slight circuitry tweak changes how the amp connects with the iPad, but has no other effect on performance or audio quality. Specifically, the mod allows the amp to connect to the iPad as a self-powered device rather than a USB-powered device. When the charge switch is in the "disable" position, the amp uses its own battery power and draws no power from the iPad.

In normal non-ipad use, what would the difference in use be between the non- and modified version? In other words, if you're buying a new amp and don't currently own an iPad, but you might use it on one later, is there a good reason as to why one should stick to the nonmodified model?
Is there any reason why all the newly produced amps aren't modified?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I'm writing a comparison between your amp and the headstage arrow on Head-fi and I need to know what kind of warranty the UHA-4 carries.
Thank you,
Blasto_Brandino
