Surface-mount op-amp adapters from Leckerton Audio feature wide, low-impedance traces and bottom-side pads for a surface-mount 0805 size bypass capacitor. This capacitor fits in the center space of an open-frame IC socket and provides local bypassing of the two supply rails, helping to prevent op-amp oscillation. The adapters are built on a multi-layer PCB, allowing the shortest possible signal traces.
Several capacitor types and values are available. The recommended bypass capacitor is 0.01uF NP0 ceramic, chosen for its high linearity and low self-inductance. Other types and values are available, including film and larger value ceramics. If you would like a capacitor type or value not listed, please contact us for availability.
Specifications: 0.45″ x 0.45″, 0.062″ FR-4 laminate, lead-free and RoHS-compliant.
Note: UHA-6S and UHA-6 models use single op-amps and open-frame IC sockets which allow placement of the bottom-side bypass capacitor.
